Trails are either beginner or intermediate. The couple of black diamonds are a stretch. Weather controls how much of the mountain is open. This is one of the better areas to ski when strong winds whip other areas. There is good skiing below the tree line. Great crusing when all lifts are open. This is a good family area. Snow is variable as most cascade resorts. Typically this area gets a lot of snow. Customer service is reasonable. Amenities include a hotel at the historic lodge and a seperate day lodge. The historic lodge is nice but way over priced due to limited rooms. It is the only ski in ski out possibility in Oregon. The food in the day lodge is okay and pricing is okay for a ski area. A lot of brown baggers. The restaurant at historic lodge is excellent and highly recommended. Parking at this area is limited and restricts how busy the mountain gets which is nice. It rarely if ever seems overcrowded. This isn't a place to seek challenging runs. Tickets are over priced
Great snow, CAN SKI YEAR ROUND. historic lodge built in 1929, Can still stay in. Great place to learn to ski, no a lot of steeps. less people, shorter liftlines.
