Trails are either beginner or advanced/expert. Very little for the intermediate skier. The mountain has listed intermediate trails but most are on the low end. If out back is open there is some great expert skiing. Snow is often bad as this area is quite low and gets quite a mix. When the light stuff falls this is a fun area. Watch the freezing level for what kind of snow. Great night skiing area if it stayed cold during the day as to prevent an icy runs at night. Service seems better than most areas in Oregon except for Anthony Lakes. Amenities are mixed. Small lodges but they seem okay. Food is good. Rentals just okay. Lodging is not on slope but nearby. Great off season activities. Value is good especially for night skiing.
Small area. great trails, the outback for experts and lower bowl for novices. no liftlines, few people on slopes. Employees helpful, food fairly priced. low cost lift ticket, closest area to Portland.
